Clayton Repair Kit for 5451 Clayton Hydrant - YRK1

If your hydrant is a Clayton Mark hydrant it will have a Red handle and if it is an older hydrant it will have 2506K on the handle. If that is what you have than the YRK1 is the repair kit for that hydrant. If not, this repair kit will not work for it. Hope this helps. Hi! Thank you for your inquiry about the Clayton YRK1 repair kit. Trimming a yard hydrant is tricky. You will need to trim the stem to the exact same length as you trim the galvanized pipe. Once that is done, use a 1 1/4 ball valve with a bushing from 1 1/4 to 1" at the bottom. But for convenience, it is usually easier and less problematic to buy a shorter hydrant. We hope this helps!
