is this the steel braided hose as shown in the pictures or the black nylon hose? I just want to make sure I'm ordering the steel braided one. Thanks.

Hi, I have a Touch2O sink with this hose and it works great. However, to cool homebrewed beer from this faucet, I want to remove the wand (easily unscrewed with the handle shut-off first) and somehow adapt the male-threaded o-ring connection to something more standard. Something more standard would be a 3/8” barbed connection I can connect 3/8” running to with a clamp, or hose or sink threads, which I can adapt as needed. I’m planning to connect the tubing to a copper heat transfer coil immersed in a 5 gallon container which has the other end draining the cold water into the same sink, so no pressure otherwise. So my question is, what is the standard female connection I need on my adapter to get where I’m trying to go?
If you don’t know, maybe just knowing the details of the male threaded connection (thread size and outer diameter perhaps) is a start. Thanks!
