This timer is designed to schedule your watering time through set intervals via the "How Often" option in the dial (ie: every 12 hours, every day, or every other day). You can take a look at this instruction manual for additional details. If you want a hose faucet timer with a more flexible scheduling, may we recommend the DIG BO9DB hose timer? It is a digital hose timer with a 3/4" inlet and outlet. This comes with a large LCD display and features a 7-day watering calendar.
