The Dial 7607 Up-Dux Extended Height Top-R Vent (DL-101-T) is a highly-reliable, durable product from Dial. This assembly is designed to exhaust evaporative cooler air into the attic, and reduces excessive attic heat, increasing cooler efficiency. It should be installed in the ceiling of each major room to allow the cooler air to escape into the attic. This vent model includes an Automatic Damper Release that has fusible links that degrade and release anti-draft steel panels, blocking air-flow between living areas and the attic. It has a 15-1/2" height to match R-38 attic insulation.
