Hello, there! Thank you for your question regarding the Redback E312D-KIT4A trimmer. To change the operating mode of this trimmer kit, kindly:
1. Press downwards and hold the locking button on the shaft coupling.
2. Turn the lower shaft by 90 degrees. The arrow on the locking button coincides with the arrow on the shaft coupling.
3. Release the locking button and then check latching by slightly twisting.
