About the Honeywell AMX300TLF

The AMX300 series thermostatic mixing valve from Honeywell allows you to increase the output on your domestic hot water supply while helping you minimize risk of scalding! The AMX300 takes outgoing hot water and adds it back into the incoming cold water supply, raising the temperature before the water makes it into the tank. The Honeywell AMX300TLF is lead free compliant and is easy to install. Just bring a crescent wrench and a pair of pliers! With new regulations on hot water heaters, the AMX300 valve allows you to increase the output of a water heater so that you get lots of hot water, especially when you have to decrease your tank size. You can also rebuild this kit using the Honeywell AM-1-025RP kit when service is needed, avoiding the need to replace the entire valve kit.
