Honeywell VFF3UW1YXR 3-Way, Resilient Seat Butterfly Valve – 20 Inch. The VFF3UW1YXR has a stainless steel valve stem that features an actuator which provides the perfect amount of torque required to put the valve in the shut-off position. The valve contains a cast iron disk which has a Nylon 11-Coating that protects the valve from corrosion and even lessens possible friction. With this design, it can be used for control of either hot water or chilled-water solutions. It even has a flow control characteristic which can be adjusted for equal ratio or percentage. When it comes to valve durability, the VFF3UW1YXR has a polyester-coated cast iron valve body that is built for wear and tear such as; tough weather conditions, chemical exposure, ultra-violet contact, scrapes, and impact protection. The construction of this valve makes it a fantastic choice for a chilled water system. If you’re going to use this valve with a field or outdoor application, weatherproof covers are available in order to protect any electrical components.
