I cant live without this product Rated 5 by adamincalgary This is the second one I have purchased I love my garburators. When I bought my last condo, this was on my must do list, and when i recently bought my most recent home, this was one of the first things I had to have installed. The power of the garburator is impressive, the quietness of it even more so. I am suprised more people dont have them in their homes. It eliminates so much garbage and smelly waste containers. The compact model takes up very little room under the sinks, and is to a standard addition to any kitchen. I will always have a garburator and to me Insinkerator is the gold standard for them. Thank you again for a superior product. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Mar/2016
Intelligent insinkerator! Rated 5 by Toby27 Yes, I recommend this product. It's an Insinkerator! What do you expect! Although I have fairly large under-cabinet space for a larger disposal, I also have a reverse osmosis system tank and filters sharing the space along with a sliding trash can and, of course, several bottles of cleaning products. A compact disposal makes the most sense - especially one that does the job so well. This one is quieter than even previous insinkerator disposals I've had in the past. The rubber flange (right word?) is flexible so that I can easily reach in to retrieve something that should not have made its way into the disposal. It may be compact, but it does its work efficiently. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jun/2016
Very quiet and minimal vibration. Rated 4 by MikeGM Yes, I recommend this product. Two minor issues both revolved around the measurements of the discharge pipe. The publication seems to show a shorter measurement than actual from the bottom of the sink to the midpoint of the discharge tube. The publication goes on to say that this disposer was a direct fit for the older and "entry level" Insinkerator. In the case of the distance between the bottom of the sink and the midpoint of the discharge tube, that is true. On the other hand, the distance that the discharge tube extends beyond the casing is greater in this disposer than the older model. Thus a little "tweeking" of the sink plumbing was necessary to make the discharge connection. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jan/2016
Very Quiet Unit, grinds good, one issue is Collar Sink Baffle holds food and water. Rated 5 by beacher99 The unit was fairly easy to install, my first time with installing a unit with the loose connections to make it quiet so it took a little more time. One issues is that the quiet collar sink baffle that slides into the throat of the unit does not let the food materials and water down into the disposal section without help. The baffle rubber is so soft that I have pushed it down into the unit a couple of times. For small materials on plates and bowls it works fine, but for larger food items such as peels it needs help to get into the disposal area. The baffle could use some re-enforcement in the outer edge so that it does not fall into the disposal area. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jan/2016
