Product you won't regret having on must have list Rated 5 by Patsy53 Yes, I recommend this product. Who knew a hot water dispenser would be used as much, or if not more, than the kitchen faucet? Originally, I wanted it so I could readily make hot tea in the morning and head out the door, but I found out very quickly how easily hot water comes in handy in the kitchen for other uses too. Whether you want to thaw food, speed up cooking time on the cook top that calls for boiling water (just add some water from the dispenser) or even clean up dishes by hand or let pans or bowls soak for easy clean up, this dispenser covers it all. When I ordered it I thought of it as a luxury item I really didn't need but boy, am I ever glad I have it now. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jun/2013
Works great, does exactly what it is designed to do Rated 5 by BillP97756 We have had instant hot water units for the last 25+ years in 3 different homes. I don't remember if the first two were the same brand (Instant Hot comes to mind) or not, but the last three were. In our last home the unit we installed when we built the house finally died after thirteen years. We replaced it with the same make/model that we just installed into our new house. I really like the easily accessable thermostat on these new models. You can easly get the temp exactly where you want it. Great product. Keep the quality high like this and you won't have any trouble selling them. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jun/2013
New and improved design and performance Rated 5 by Mountainman This was a replacement for a very similar unit we purchased over 15 years ago. We use this daily so needed a very similar style and function. This unit is even better as it is much more quiet, has a smoother operation and flow, as well as a larger tank. My plumber took only 15 minutes to change out the old unit. Two suggestions: Offer it in white (many of us still have that color scheme) and warn folks like us that live in the mountains at 8000 feet in elevation that water boils at a lower temp, so we needed to crank it down a couple of clicks as it was always boiling at the higher setting - minor adjustment. Bottom line, very pleased and will buy another when the time comes - hopefully another 15 years! Originally posted on insinkerator.com Sep/2015
Involve H-Wave Rated 5 by AliceBrz This was very easy for me to install, but I do have to say that we had one in already that died (started leaking) after 7 years, so all I had to do is take out the old and put in the new. This model has a raised spout that makes it much easier to get cups under also it's a push lever not a turn knob like the old one. It was so hard to turn the knob on our old one. The water comes out faster too. I just wish InSinkerator would make these so they would last longer. After reading some of the reviews, I shouldn't complain most people just get 3 to 4 years out of them and we got 7. Originally posted on insinkerator.com Jan/2016
