IPS P-70 1 Quart PVC Purple Primer. The WELD-ON P-70 is an industrial grade primer that has a distinct purple color. It is for use on both CPVC and PVC, which will soften and take the glaze finish off of the pipes and fittings allowing you to use the cement in order to get a solid secure solvent weld. This purple primer comes in a 1 quart can and is suggested that it is used on Schedule 80 pipe.
