About the Liberty Pumps Ascent II Macerator Unit, 1/2 HP, 115 Volts, 1 Discharge - ASCENT2-MUW
The Liberty ASCENT2-MUW Macerator Unit is designed to effectively reduce human waste and toilet paper to smaller pieces for smooth disposal to the sewage system. It can receive wastewater from the toilet’s rear discharge and, at the same time, accept wastewater from other bathroom fixtures like a sink, a shower, a bathtub, and a urinal. The package includes a macerator tank, rubber couplings with clamps, reducing bushings, a 9-volt battery, a grease packet, and a 3/16” Allen wrench.
This Liberty ASCENT2-MUW Macerator Unit features the RazorCut System, where heavy-duty utility knife blades are used for improved waste grinding. This system has an advance-run technology that starts the blades even before debris enters the cutter basket. The macerator utilizes a QuickFlip discharge and vent connectors that allow horizontal or vertical pipe connections.
The macerator unit comes with a solid-state electronic switch system. It has auxiliary inlets on each side that accept 1-1/2” or 2” pipes. It boasts a built-in alarm that uses a 9V battery backup and has a silence switch. It features an LED display that informs of the alarm condition, low battery status, and whether power is running.
