About the Milwaukee 2520-21XC

The Milwaukee 2520-21XC kit features a cordless M12 Fuel Hackzall reciprocating saw that is hands-down the most powerful and fastest cutting saw in its class. With its compact, lightweight, one-handed design, this Milwaukee Hackzall is small enough to fit in tight places and perfect for overhead cutting. The Hackzall's POWERSTATE brushless motor has no wearable components, so it runs cooler while maintaining constant power output; and its built-in LED light helps you work in dark corners. The Milwaukee M12 Fuel Hackzall is powered by a single REDLITHIUM XC 4.0 battery pack, designed to deliver more work per charge. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence protects the M12 Hackzall from overloads and guards against abuse, managing the tool's temperature to extend its lifespan. This Milwaukee 2520-21XC kit includes one M12 Fuel Hackzall recip saw, one M12 REDLITHIUM XC 4.0 extended capacity battery pack, one M12 lithium-ion battery charger, one contractor bag, and one multi-material blade. Milwaukee Tool Corporation has been an industry leader since it began in 1924, providing durable, innovative, high-performance, heavy-duty tools and accessories for the trades and other tool users who demand quality.

Bigger May Not Be Better Rated 4 by Anonymous
  Yes, I recommend this product.
The Fuel M12 is a nice saw but considerably bigger and heavier than the standard M12 Hackzall (unlike the Fuel M12 drill and driver which I also own). More cutting capacity but less portability. The standard M12 is a nice saw for light duty attic and crawl space work. Guess I'll need to keep both M12 saws, plus my corded sawzall. I'll need to use it more to determine the best uses for the Fuel M12 saw.

I thought not having a pivoting shoe would be a draw back but the way this shoe is designed it's even easier to use and there is almost no vibration. This little gem is now my go to because it goes in with me and isn't left back in the truck. Workers think it's a toy until I power through a 2X4!

  Yes, I recommend this product.
Best saw ever. It fits into tight spots, especially with its small size and being cordless. I"m a renovator and I carry it with me always. You can change the blade in seconds. If you don't own one I suggest you do.
