New with this Model is a pre-installed Flush Plug designed for ultimate convenience. This valve does indeed include the cartridge (#1222) but it is no longer installed from the factory. Instead, a water-tight plug takes its place offering the ability to pressure test your system while keeping the cartridge safe from any potentially harmful contaminates that may have gotten in the waterlines during construction.
