In addition to temperature and pressure control, this rough-in valve is part of Moen's M-PACT common valve system that allows you to upgrade any faucet style in the future without the need for you to change any plumbing behind the wall every time you want a faucet upgrade. This rough-in valve has four ports with 1/2" cold expansion PEX connections for a simple and consistent installation. It is designed to work with the popular 1222 type valve cartridge.
