About the Moen S3102 U by Moen 2-Outlet Thermostatic Smart Shower Valve
This S3102 is a 2-outlet thermostatic digital shower valve manufactured by the Moen Company. This state of the art electronic valve is part of the "Moen U" Collection and features two 1/2" CC Inlets and two 1/2” CC inlets (copper sweat) outlet ports, which allow you to divert your water to multiple individual body sprays and/or showerheads. An impressive 9 GPM (gallons per minute) flow rate can handle as many as 3 body sprays per outlet port with enough flow left over for your favorite Moen showerhead.
Complete with a 30’ data cable, the Moen S3102 rough-in can conveniently be placed virtually anywhere, including walls, closets, and bathroom cabinets, and can be installed either vertically or even flat (Note: when installing in a wall an access panel with an opening of 14" x 29" is required - Not Included). Designed to coordinate with the Moen TS3302TB controllers, the S3102 requires a GFCI electrical outlet within reach of the included 6' AC power adapter.
Built to fit between wall studs, this controller is only 13-3/4" wide and, despite all of its many functions, still fits inside a 2" x 4" wall and can run on the optional battery pack (Not Included) for a few days if ever the power is lost or circuit is tripped.
