This is the third Robotic Lawn Mower we have had and this one is by far the easiest to use. It simply does the job without issues. Also a great feature unlike other brands, when you enter your pin and press start, it actually starts. It does not have WIFI and that is an advantage because the Bluetooth and WiFi often don't connect well and other brands are difficult to control without an ap.

Set up was very easy using the perimeter wire supplied. I cut the lawn short first and set the mower loose and watched the first mow. It cuts the lawn very evenly and performed as I expected. Set it and Forget it! This thing is saving me so much time- I LOVE IT! Highly recommended

The mower of the future has arrived! I live in Florida and the last thing I want to do in the summer is cut my grass in 100° heat. It rains nearly everyday in the summer, which helps the grass grow quickly however the HOA will take notice if it’s not cut quickly enough. This mower will cut my grass every two days and will stop when it senses rain. I read all the directions and made a few notes. The mower will work for yards less than a 1/4 acre. So if you have a big yard, this will not be ideal for you. I decided to set the perimeter up in just my front yard. My backyard has a lot of obstacles/trees that I would have to place stakes around while my front yard is fairly straight forward with a small garden. Another thing to note, is the angles have to be a minimum of 100°..... In the photos you’ll see that the mower has the option to lower or raise the blade. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the brightness of the display. In the light of day, it’s very difficult to read. If you have a small yard less than 1/4 acre and hate yard work (like me) this mower will be a lifesaver. Pros: Cuts Well, Durable, Easy to Store, Light Weight, Powerful, Sturdy

Coolest thing ever! We started small with a robot vacuum and that works so well, so why not with the grass? Saw the MowRo and just liked it cause it looks so cool. First thing first, quick setup guide did nothing for us. Did not understand it at all, so went straight to the booklet. For us, setup was a little difficult. Lots of trials and errors, and will probably continue to learn as we go. However, it's so much fun to watch it go at it with my whatever grass I have left. Overall, it definitely helps saving time and energy, but still have to take out the lawn mower for places that it couldn't get to. Pros: Cuts Well, Good Size & Weight, Self-Propelled

I love my MoRow! It's fun to watch and quiet too. It's fun to see it going about it's cutting. It doesn't move very fast so it doesn't scare my pets. But always keep an eye on them if they're out there with it. And kids too obviously. Ideally, it should be out there alone. Now, it doesn't cut very fast, but while you're at work, running errands or even out of town, your little MoRow friend is happily cutting your grass for you! It even gets into the corners that are hard to cut with conventional mowers. At first, I was intimidated when I open the box and saw all the different elements for the set up. But don't be intimidated, it's really not that difficult to get up and running. Running the guide wire is going to be the most time consuming part, but I just gave my MowRo a section of my yard to see what I thought. Running the guide wire wasn't hard, I used the provided measuring stick to make sure my wire was at least 12" away from the fence or anything I didn't want it to run trim or get stuck on. I also spoke with RedBack customer service when I had some set up questions and they were so helpful. Once the perimeter was set up and MoRow was charged it got straight to work. And my grass had gotten pretty tall when it set out on its maiden voyage. I was worried maybe it was too tall for it to handle. No problem for the MoRow, it cut it all down and looked seamless from where I cut with a mower and where MoRow did cutting for me. I'd recommend this mower to anyone who wants to eliminate that task from their life, or anyone who has to hire out for yard cutting because they are not able to do so themselves. Lastly, it's no maintenance and environmentally friendly. There is no gas to keep adding and no oil to change. This mower is maintenance free and does not cause any pollution. It's quiet so it doesn't cause any noise pollution either. This would be great for smaller yards. It can handle large yards too, but it will just take longer, and you might need more wire. Also, if you make sure the wire securing spikes are flush with the dirt you should in theory be able to cut inside the perimeter with your own mower if necessary. First the MoRow will back out of its charging station and the search for the guide wire. So make sure that the MoRow has enough room to back straight out. Placing the charging station on a straight away near the power source is a good way to do this. After it finds the guide wire it follows in around the entire perimeter, pulls into the charging dock and bumps the charing elements and then backs right out and begins free range cutting around the enclosed perimeter. It cuts in a pattern much like a screen saver, if while cutting the batter gets low, it will go back and charge and then head back out again and again until it senses there's no more grass to be cut. MoRow has sensors that can tell if the grass under it is tall enough to be cut according to the height you set it at. If it senses the grass is tall enough it turns on it's cutting element. Tips: 1.You might want to consider building a little dog house or garage for the MoRow to park inside, but you can also unplug the wires from the back and take the entire thing inside if the weather is bad. 2.I had some issue with the wires falling out of the blue plugs because you need to strip them so they would make contact. I'm working on fixing that. Again, if you have questions, call the number and they will help. 3.The guide wire must make a complete close circuit. The MoRow will stop if one of the blue plugs come out or the wire slips out of the blue clip. This is a safety feature. The MoRow cannot sense the guide wire unless it has a current running through it. And without the guide wire it would just wander away and end up in your neighbors yard or in the road.

Meet Gerald, he's our yard buddy and he is an amazing friend! Once you define your yard perimeter, it is almost as simple as plug and play and let Gerald do the rest! He mows the yard every 48 hours, unless it is raining, then he will mow at the next schedule time. Let me start from the beginning. Setup is relatively easy, but it'll probably take a few hours depending on how big your yard is. The included boundary wire is pretty easy to use with the included cardboard distance marker. Be sure that the wire stays flat against the grass. Once the boundary is defined set the robot on the dock so he can charge. THen follow the guide to set up a unique passcode to unlock him. This is important as it is an important security feature to prevent others from using it. Then you setup how big of your property is. IMPORTANT, this is in SQUARE METERS not feet! I had originally set it up for 1000 sq meters thinking it was feet. Poor little guy was mowing all night and into the morning (after several recharge sessions). Nonetheless, i've backed it down to 250-300 sq meters for my back yard. He mows that in about 3 hours charges for a little bit, and then finishes the job. THe last thing that you set up is the start time. Honestly, anytime would probably work, but I like watching him mow late evening and waking up to fresh mowed yard. Its nice that he can mow in the middle of the night because he is so quiet! Literally will bother no one. I have not tested him in the full 98 degree heat/sun of eastern NC yet though. The razor blades seem to do a great job cutting my grass down. I did not do a pre-mow...I wanted to put him to the test. He did great! Now with the mowing every 48 hours, only millimeters of grass is taken each time, which keeps it looking awesome and healthy. It mulches the grass further providing nutrients. Talk about a win win. One night I watched him mow, only to be surprised by a pop up thunderstorm. He quickly realized it was raining, made his way to the boundary wire and followed it home to his charging station. He then resumed mowing the following day at my scheduled time. Pretty awesome! I must say that I am fascinated by it. It definitely saves me time because I am only needing to edge my back yard. My back yard is no lush green oasis--it is very uneven, has multiple areas of roots, dead patches from dog urine, a small area with a steep incline--but have no fear, Gerald tackles it all without any issues. I am impressed. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't save that much time because I usually end up grabbing a beer in the evening and just watch him for a bit...and I love it. So he saves me a lot of effort! Again, installation will take some time, but I highly recommend it because the overall benefit is amazing. This is such a genius little robot. Install was a little tricky- the docking platform needs to face the grass in a certain direction, be on level ground and have 4’ of space (or more) in order for it to come and go easily. Once I got over that hurdle, it’s been nothing but awesome! Literally, my neighbors come by to just watch it do its work and ask me all kinds of questions. I think I have at least 4 of them sold on buying one themselves! (Can I get commission on that, MowRo?!) My grass looks better than ever and I didn’t have to lift a finger or break a sweat to get it that way. Super impressed.

Put your feet up, crack open your favorite cold beverage, and watch the MowRo get to work. I’ve named mine Joe. Joe the MowRo is awesome! I didn’t have any problems with setting things up. There were a few rough patches that the back swivel wheel would get stuck in, but I’ve made things more even on my lawn and don’t have the problem anymore. I would suggest everyone get a Joe the MowRo of their own! You won’t regret it.

I have a bumpy, rocky lawn and I'm pretty pleased with how well this mower handles it. Installation and setup could've been easier, but that's OK. I'm saving tons of time on the net now that I'm not mowing the lawn myself.
