We have had two of these. We like the styling and the features are nice, there aren't many manufacturers that have the pressure adjustment for the spray feature like Pfister does. Our first Hanover faucet required a new cartridge within 5 years. Our water there was amazingly free of sediment and mineral deposits. Even the service that tested our well was shocked by how clean and pure it was. The soap dispensers would constantly drip. If you noticed, I said dispensers, as in plural. It didn't seem to matter what brand of dishwashing soap was being used. I thought one brand may have been more caustic than another so we tried several. The metal head and spout would also come loose from the pump assembly occasionally. The company probably sent 4 replacements over those few years. One time they mailed it with the reservoir attached and sent it in an envelope. The neck was ripped off the reservoir by the time it arrived, but I already had 3 others from the other replacements and the part I needed was the pump assembly anyway, not another reservoir too. At our new home we installed the same style Hanover on a new big double cast iron sink. Nearly as soon as the plumber left I noticed that when I pulled the spray head out of the curved pipe the plastic seating grommet that secures the spray head came out also. The seating grommet has only one tab that is supposed to lock in to a slot on the curved pipe. The plastic material is not resilient and strong enough for the tab to secure the seat and even after carefully putting it back in place it came out every time I extend the hose. Now we don't even position the spray head back in to the curved spout, we just let it hang because even the replacement grommet seats so poorly. Another issue was the pressure of the water stream coming from the spray head was extremely weak, so weak I thought I may have a problem with the plumbing elsewhere. A PF service rep thought it may need a new spray head. Price Pfister is good about sending replacement parts, they had sent me 4 soap dispensers and a ceramic cartridge for faucet #1 and a replacement spray head and a seating grommet for faucet #2. But better design and construction would relieve both them and the customers of the hassle. I installed the new spray head, which required removing and reinstalling the hose from the center stem. It's easy enough to do but if your sink is as deep as mine there is no way you can see what has to be done, it's all by feel. Thankfully I worked as a mechanic for years in my youth and am used to jobs like that. I suspect many customers, definitely any one who is elderly or unable to contort in to the fetal position inside of their sink cabinet would have to hire a plumber again. The new spray head delivered equally weak pressure. Since I now had two I decided to try and open one up. There were so many layers of aerator screens that the water was hardly getting through. I understand and agree with trying to conserve every drop of water we can and use what we do use sparingly, but this design was horribly inefficient. I bet you'd end up using more water because the stream was so weak by comparison to every other fixture in our home.
