This yellow 3/4" Polyethylene Gas Pipe is specifically designed for underground installation. Used for both Natural and LP Gas this pipe requires no special equipment to install and has a recommended burying depth of 18". (Please see instruction sheet for heavy traffic and shallow installation instructions.) Easily cut with shear style cutters, this Polyethylene Gas Pipe can be cut to any length needed. If splices are made or couplings required, Con-Stab Fittings are recommended for optimal and efficient applications. No Glue, primer, fusion equipment, or clamps are required for these fittings. Although this tubing is considered "bury pipe" this yellow polyethylene should be laid out and routed to prevent undue stress of the pipe under heavy vehicular traffic, or below soil where conditions may become unstable and excessive settling of pipe could occur. With a maximum peak pressure rating of 125psi and a maximum continual pressure of 60psi this Yellow 3/4" Polyethylene Gas Pipe is a great solution for your gas piping requirements.
