Hi! Thank you for your query about the American Standard 7236V.002.222 tub. Yes, this tub can be installed either above or below the floor line as a pier, island or peninsula type installation. The fiberglass you are looking for is the AS 9271019 apron and this is sold separately. Unfortunately, we don't carry this apron on PlumbersStock yet.
