Hi, there! Thank you for asking about the PVCCAP4T threaded cap. A slip cap and a threaded cap are two different types of caps used to seal the end of a pipe or fitting. The main difference between them is in how they are attached to the pipe or fitting. A slip cap is designed to be slid onto the end of a pipe or fitting and secured in place with an adhesive or solvent cement. The cap does not have any threads, and it relies on a tight fit and adhesive or cement to create a seal. Slip caps are typically made of PVC, CPVC, or other types of plastic materials. A threaded cap, on the other hand, has threads on the inside that allow it to be screwed onto the end of a pipe or fitting. The threads create a tight seal that prevents leaks or other problems. Threaded caps are typically made of metal or plastic, and they are commonly used in plumbing, HVAC, and other applications. We hope this information helps.
