About the 1/2" Pipe Insulators

1/2" Pipe Insulators from Sioux Chief are compatible with CPVC, Copper and Pex pipes/applications and are easily mounted on either wood or metal studs. There are a couple main purposes of a pipe insulator including giving the pipe some room to expand and contract. The insulator helps to quiet the pipe when they are expanding and contracting, but also to help give a solid secure mounting to a stud.
