The Red Lion 14942746 RL-SC50T cast-iron sump pump is designed for water and effluent removal in residential applications. It provides an efficient solution for average to high-volume dewatering in basements and crawl spaces, among others. Other than corrosion-resistance, this cast iron pump is clog-resistant and is capable of handling 1/2" semi-solids. On top of that, it also has a high-efficiency Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motor -- imparting a high power factor and a higher pullout torque.

This 1/2 HP pump is equipped with a piggyback tethered float switch for automatic operation. It has a 1-1/2" FNPT discharge, a 115 volt (5.3 amps) rating, and a 10 ft cord. Please note that the Red Lion 14942746 RL-SC50T is not suitable for pond use.
