The MegaPress pipe-joining solution provides a fast, secure method to join 1/2" to 2" Schedule 5-40 Black Iron Pipe in commercial applications. The RIDGID 48553 MegaPress 1/2" - 2" kit is a flameless system, which cuts down project time, increases productivity, and eliminates the need for hot work permits. A "wet" system can be used to make press connections. MegaPress is perfect for plumbing, heating, and fire protection systems. The RIDGID 48553 MegaPress 1/2" - 2" kit was developed and tested together with Viega MegaPress fittings. This product is fully covered by RIDGID's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The RIDGID MegaPress Pipe Prep Tools used to prepare the end of schedule 5 to 40 black steel pipe for use with Viega MegaPress fittings. The tools are not approved for use with galvanized or epoxy coated pipe. Please refer to the fitting manufactures instructions for proper preparation techniques for these types of pipe. Thank you!
