This Schedule 80 PVC 1" Union is a fitting that allows you to connect multiple fittings together, and make repair and replacements without dismantling the entire line. This Union features two slip-fit female connections ideal for a snug and leak free connection when installed correctly. (Recommended Sch. 80 Primer and Glue are required for installation). This Schedule 80 PVC 1" Union is great for water transportation applications such as irrigation and sprinkler systems. However they should never be used for gas or compressed air applications. This Union has a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Schedule 80 pipe is also more corrosion resistant and durable than other pipe options, making this fitting ideal for light chemical commercial applications.
