Simple cleaning will resolve the restricted filter. However, if the valve is the issue, you must drain the air tank first. Then, measure the pump-up time and compare it to the compressor specifications. If it falls lower than 125 seconds, you need to remove the pump head and inspect the valve plate. It may need cleaning or replacement of the whole check valve assembly with the Senco 3B11DC02A, which is unfortunately unavailable on our website.
