Get a bargain on the 12" x 12" Adjustable Curved Blade Diffuser, 4-Way Square in soft white (Shoemaker 700CB40-12X12) at PlumbersStock. The adjustable aluminum curved blades provide a square airway (CB40A, as opposed to the rectangular CB40B or CB40C). The extruded frame is intended for surface mounting. There is no opposed blade damper with the 700CB40 series, you have to check out the 700CB40-O series. The pre-coat and powder finish will resist rust for years. Shoemaker products will last you a long time, but parts will wear, and you can find replacements here when they do.
