This White 18" x 6" Shoemaker 951 Series Vent Cover is designed to fit and cover an 18" wide by 6" high opening. The Shoemaker 951 Adjustable Steel-Blade Diffuser is equipped with a lever operated multi-shutter damper. Its vertical air deflectors have nylon bushings for easy adjustment and quiet settings. The louvers on this particular air grille run perpendicular to the length of the grille. Multiple sizes of the grille are available to match the desired dimensions. All component parts, such as the rivets, the linkage and the handle, are enclosed in the valve for trouble-free operation. Normally, vent covers are mounted in walls but this diffuser can be mounted in ceilings as well. The standard color of this grille is soft white. The Shoemaker 951 Adjustable Steel-Blade Diffuser can be ordered with "F" Torx center pin tamper-proof screws for added security. Please note that this grille is designed to fit over an 18" x 6" existing hole or duct.
