This White 20" x 12" Shoemaker USR52-0 Series Vent Cover is designed to fit and cover a 20" wide by 12" high opening. The Shoemaker USR52-0 Series Universal Spiral Diffuser (Single Deflection) is manufactured from galvanized steel that went through a chemical process to keep it from corroding. It also gives the steel a more durable, hard to scratch finish. This diffuser creates a 2-way airflow adjustment. The adjustable louvers are parallel to the shortest dimension. Its blades have nylon bushings for easy adjustment and quiet settings. The Shoemaker USR52-0 Series vent cover comes with a recessed screwdriver-operated opposed blade damper. It is used to regulate the airflow through linked sections of adjacent blades that rotate in the opposite direction. Compared to other damper types, an opposed blade damper maintains a more even airflow. It also provides better control over the airflow in all operating positions. A recessed screwdriver-operated damper prevents any unnecessary adjustments of the damper setting. The standard color of this grille is soft white but it is also available in driftwood tan. Optional designer colors are also available. Be sure to measure the hole opening size instead of measuring the face plate of your old grille.
