This White 18" x 6" Shoemaker USR52-SC Series Vent Cover is designed to fit and cover an 18" wide by 6" high opening. The Shoemaker USR34-SC Series Universal Spiral Diffuser (Single Deflection) is manufactured from galvanized steel that went through a chemical process to keep it from corroding. It also gives the steel a more durable, hard to scratch finish. The diffuser creates a 2-way airflow adjustment. The adjustable louvers are parallel to the shortest dimension. Its blades have nylon bushings for easy adjustment and quiet settings. The USR52-SC comes with a half-length screwdriver-operated scoop extractor which covers the half length of the diffuser. The scoop extractor provides a controlled and balanced air intake. Achieving air balance in a facility is imperative to air quality, safety and energy efficiency. The standard color of this grille is soft white but it is also available in driftwood tan. Optional designer colors are also available. Be sure to measure the hole opening size instead of measuring the face plate of your old grille. This grille is designed to fit over an 18" x 6" existing hole or duct.
