The Spears 1407-131 is a 90-degree right angle insert reducing elbow designed to connect two sections of piping. It has 1” barbed x 3/4” female pipe threaded connections. This barbed fitting is best used in irrigation applications for hose hook-up, securing the fitting for a secure connection. Since the water pressure can push the tube off the fitting, hose clamps should be used for installation.
