I bought this valve to take it apart and use its internal parts (the bonnet and everything attached to it) in an old Watts gate valve that had a broken stem. Unfortunately it did not work out. The new bonnet is slightly larger than the old one and could not be screwed into the old valve housing. The other thing is that the new gate is slightly thicker than the old one, and may not drop all the way down the old valve guide to close the old valve. So the new valve is can replace a whole old Watts gate valve, but using its internal parts to repair an old Watts gate valve did not work for me. Other than that, the valve itself is well made. I reduced 1 star only because it did not work for my application.
