This freezeless wall hydrant from Woodford features a patented high flow double check back flow preventer. It automatically drains when the handle is shut off even if the hose is left attached. Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry about the TOTO THU9489 remote control assembly. The remote control is magnetically attached to the hanger and you can simply pull it out to remove it. However, if it's locked at the remote control fixture, you need to remove the screws that secure the remote. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw at the bottom of the hanger to pull out the remote. You may check page 15 of this owner’s manual for your reference.
