Hi! Thanks for your interest in the Ridgid 31405 internal wrench. To reverse the position of jaws, first, is to spread jaws apart with the thumb on the side where the ring is split. Then, slide jaws away from the handle about 1/2 jaw length. Removing the spring ring is not necessary. Maintain grip on jaws, keeping them in firm contact with the body of the wrench turning jaws 180 degrees. Lastly, push them back against the hex shoulder of the body. Please refer to this instructions sheet for an illustration on how to use this wrench. We hope it helps. To purchase, just click "Add To Cart", then enter your shipping details, and we'll do the rest. Thank you for visiting PlumbersStock! Have a great day!
