The JC Whitlam Flow-Aid chemical descaler cleaner works to dissolves water scale, rust, lime, and other water formed deposits, which allows your system to function as if it was brand new. The chemical descaler has a non-toxic formula certified by NSF/ANSI 60 as safe for use in potable water systems. It is not only powerful but is also totally safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally-friendly. It is for use with tankless water heaters with 3/4" hot and cold service connections.
Included in the kit is a 3.5 Gallon bucket, a 725 GPH pump, 2 rubber hoses, and 1-quart Flow-Aide (FLOW32). The solution in this kit has a BOD value of 16 mg/l. Because it is biodegradable, it can be flushed down sewers safely, without causing harm to the pipes and the environment. It is also suitable for use on boilers, chillers, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, humidifiers, ice machines, potable water, lines, tanks, and water heaters. It has the ability to dissolve around 2 lbs (0.91 kg) of calcium carbonate scale while at 70 degrees F and in concentrated form. If diluted, it can still dissolve 2 lbs/gal but needs more circulating time.
