The JC Whitlam Flow-Aid chemical descaler cleaner works to dissolves water scale, rust, lime, and other water formed deposits, which allows your system to function as if it was brand new. The chemical descaler has a non-toxic formula certified by NSF/ANSI 60 as safe for use in potable water systems. Included in the kit is a 3.5 Gallon bucket, a 725 GPH pump, 2 rubber hoses, and 1-quart Flow-Aide (FLOW32). The solution in this kit has a BOD value of 16 mg/l. It has the ability to dissolve around 2 lbs (0.91 kg) of calcium carbonate scale while at 70 degrees F and in concentrated form. If diluted, it can still dissolve 2 lbs/gal but needs more circulating time.
