Questions & Answers

*PLUMBERSSTOCK EXPERT* responded:

Hi! Thank you for your interest in our JC Whitlam Flow-Aide FLOW-KIT Tankless Water Heater Descaler Kit. With regards to your question, Flow-Aide is non-corrosive, but the application of Flow-Aide may expose pre-existing under deposit corrosion (pitting, holes or similar damage) that can result in leaks in pipes, equipment or systems. The process takes only 30-40 minutes to completely dissolve all scale buildup. Usually, tankless water heaters should be serviced yearly. However, in a rough water environment and commercial applications, systems may need to be descaled multiple times in a year. We hope this helps. Thank you for visiting PlumbersStock.com!
