With regards to your question, the PC-12 controller, like most irrigation controllers, has a Master Valve/Pump Start circuit in addition to a circuit for each of the numbered stations (zones). A Master Valve is a valve on the pipeline that supplies water to all the valves. Whenever a station or zone is active, this circuit is also running (with its light on) to supply the water. To create a schedule for your irrigation, it is initially done using your computer as it is set up and synchronized with your controller and remote device (if this is what you mean by a VCU clock). Then you may adjust the irrigation timer for each irrigation zone using this remote device by following the instructions on pages 157–162 of this user guide for more information. We hope this helps.
