About the Moen 141025

Moen 141025 Wand O-Ring & Screen For Moen Pull-down Faucets 2.2 GPM. Starting In August 2013 all Moen Kitchen Faucets will be transitioning to a 1.5gpm (Gallon Per Minute) Flow Rate. Some federal and local legislation mandate all kitchen faucets flow at or below 1.8gpm, with the voluntary section of this legislation asking for kitchen faucet flow rates at or below 1.5gpm. Once all current inventory has been depleted ALL Moen Kitchen Faucets will have the 1.5gpm instead of the current 2.0gpm Flow rates. If these flow rates are an issue, the Moen 141025 O-Ring Kit is the solution. This O-Ring Kit will allow a less restricted flow of your water giving you a much higher flow rate of 2.2gpm.

  Yes, I recommend this product.
I recently installed a new Moen kitchen faucet. Great high necked faucet; terrible water flow: the faucet was assembled with a black plastic filter that reduced the flow to 1.6 gallons per minute. I called Moen, but they said that the attenuation was built into the faucet. I knew better that the removable filter was accessible by unscrewing the faucet head from the stem. After some research I saw that a 2.2 gpm white filter is available, maybe for only a limited time. Plumbersstock has the best price, so I ordered, and it arrived promptly. It installed easily, and now we have an acceptable flow from our new Moen faucet.
