Can this check valve filter be installed on regular 5004 rotors that aren't factory SAM or factory installed already with check valves. I want to convert a regular 5004 Rain Bird rotor to a SAM or check valve rotor, will this work for me? I want the ability to take off the check valve in the winter to drain the water out the lowest sprinkler head via gravity like I've been doing for decades.
