The Weathermatic 12024EF-10-H is a 1-inch valve with a flow control. This valve belongs to the family of Weathermatic 12000 series irrigation valves. It showcases its unique "reverse flow" feature that prevents the usual problem of valve failure, the so-called "stretching". This happens when it equally distributes pressure on both sides of the diaphragm. whatever the line pressure is. Also, reverse flow is designed in the event the valve fails. It conserves water, providing a stress- and-wallet-free day even in times of failure. This valve has a manual internal bleed lever that is easy to use - it has open and closed stop positions. Its diaphragm has a self-cleaning feature - the ports flex, constantly protecting the valve action by blocking other particles that are usually carried by running water, like sand and silt. This Weathermatic 12024EF-10-H is made out of superior materials. Its body and cover are made of durable glass-filled nylon with 1/4" stainless steel cover bolts and body inserts of mating brass. This valve has a solenoid that is marine-grade S20P with an actuator that is made of stainless steel.
