I can't get it to fit in a rain bird 1800 due to the lip inside. Is there a certain brand that I need to purchase?

Hi, there! Thank you for asking us. This Irritrol I-PRO-CV check valve is designed for the Irritrol I-PRO Series of spray heads. The Rainbird 1800 Series may not be compatible with it, especially if the 1800 series that you own is from the SAM (Seal-A-Matic check valve) or SAM PRS/45 models. The 1800 Series range from models 1802, 1804, 1806, and 1812. Please take a look at this parts list to see the required check valve.
