Save on this 300-foot roll of black Polyethylene Tubing ( 1-1/2-inch thick). It is important to note that this tubing will use 1-1/2 inch PEX/Poly fittings such as, Barbed or Compression connection fittings. This Black Poly Tubing is great for a wide variety of plumbing, irrigation, and waste disposal applications. Poly Pipe, which stands for “Polyethylene”, has become an alternative to the classic plumbing pipes including Copper, PVC, and CPVC.
The main advantage to working with poly tube is that it is easily moldable, especially for tight areas where there just isn’t room for multiple pipe fitting to get the tubing from point A to B, but still provides incredible durability and strength. Potable water distribution and sprinkler systems are two of the most popular applications for poly tubing and help to save time and effort while still getting the same durability and reliability out of your water systems.
Thank you for asking help from the PlumbersStock team! If your Orbit 58322 Traveling Lawn Sprinkler is moving backward, it means that the nozzles at the top are facing the wrong direction (they're turning clockwise instead of counterclockwise). Simply spin them 180 degrees each and it should go forwards. According to page 3 of this Instruction Manual, the sprinkler will move forward if it is in the correct position. If you need more technical assistance, it would be best to contact the manufacturer at 801-299-5555. Thank you for visiting PlumbersStock.com!
Ahoy! Thanks for your interest in the Orbit 58322 traveling lawn sprinkler. To answer your question, it depends on how thick the straw is. The spikes in the wheels will dig through if the straw is slightly applied, while thick straw may cause the wheels to slip some. I hope this helps.
