This valve box offers unique knock-outs along the bottom for easy pipe placement. This significantly reduces installation time by virtually eliminating the need to cut access ports into the box, while at the same time maintaining structure stability.

The Rain Bird VBJMBB Jumbo Valve Box is engineered to maintain shape and structure integrity, even under load. Removing all the knockouts will not change that either. In order to help keep dirt out of the box, these knockouts can slide back into place above the pipe if needed. To help keep bugs and rodents out, this jumbo valve box also features a bolt hole knock-out for when the locking bolt isn't used and a shovel access slot which makes the lid much easier to remove than standard boxes you may be used to. This product comes without a lid, giving you the option to choose the lid color if non-potable water applications are in use, or when landscape requires a less conspicuous color than the traditional green found on most valve boxes.
