The Arnold BAF-111 is an air filter. A replacement for the Briggs & Stratton 270579 air filter. It is suited for the Briggs & Stratton 3-3.5 hp vertical shaft engines from the 92900 series and up. This foam construct prevents abrasive particulate matter like dust, grains and others from entering the engine's cylinders, before those could cause mechanical wear and oil contamination. It is 5-3/8 inches long, 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches thick. It can also replace these Arnold parts: 270579S, 4104, 5009, 5009B, LG270579, LG270579S, M47949, 100-529, 100-5293 and 1371.
