The Arnold BAF-122 is an air filter. This is a replacement for the Briggs & Stratton 493909 and 496894 air filters. It is compatible with the Briggs & Stratton 12.5-15 hp vertical shaft I/C series and 14-16.5 hp OHV series engines. It includes the Briggs & Stratton 272403 pre-cleaner filter wrap. This paper construct prevents abrasive particulate matter like dust, grains and others from entering the engine's cylinders, before those could cause mechanical wear and oil contamination.
