American Standard T420.502.002 Chrome Portsmouth FloWise Bath/Shower Trim Kit. This Valve Only Trim Kit is equipped with a water conserving feature called FloWise. floWise is designed to save up to 40% in water usage annually. This Trim Kit also includes a wax thermostatic unit is designed to move between the hot and cold seat to maintain the pre-selected constant water temperature. These valves allow the water that enters the valve to pass through the spring-loaded check valves to prevent cross flow of hot and cold water. The American Standard T420.502.002 Chrome Portsmouth FloWise Bath/Shower Trim Kit features an adjustable limit stop that regulates the hot water that mixes with the cold water to prevent scalding. For use with R520 and R540 series valves.
