Questions & Answers

Good day! In response to your inquiry about the Camco 11612 Anode rod, this anode rod has a standard 3/4"-14 NPT thread, so it should fit most major brands of water heaters, including Whirlpool. It is 42” long but can be cut to the desired length as needed. The two "flexible" areas on this anode rod look to be solid but you can bend those areas as needed to work the anode rod into the correct position when you have low overhead clearance. The aluminum coating in those areas will crack as you bend them but this is completely normal and how the product should work. Hope that this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further question about this anode rod. We thank you for choosing Have a great day!
