About the Delta 100-DST

The Delta 100-DST (DIAMOND (TM) Seal Technology) Classic Single Handle Kitchen Faucet in Chrome Finish, takes the properties of a diamond to a new level with their revolutionary water delivery system combining their durable DIAMOND (TM) Valve with their InnoFlex (R) PEX tubing waterways. To create an extraordinarily durable and leak-free valve that requires no lubrication and eliminates wear on seals ensuring that this valve will last a life time. The valve also keeps water from contact with possible metal contaminants by its innovative design allowing for a purer water. The Delta 100-DST Classic Single Handle Kitchen Faucet in Chrome Finish uses the limit stop on Delta's DIAMOND (TM) Valve cartridge making it easy to limit the handle's range of motion for the hot water from a possible full flow to a 50/50 mix easily eliminating burns for sensitive skin. The 100-DST faucet is also water efficient, and saves our planets most precious resource; water. All these amazing features packed into a super sleek and simply elegant faucet, that will compliment any kitchen with its sensible styling and crisp design lines; and with its Brilliance (R) finish from delta that will help to resist abrasions and possible discolorations better than traditional brass or even other traditional chrome finishes, it shines beautifully. The Delta 100-DST Classic Single Handle Kitchen Faucet in Chrome Finish is a smart choice in any kitchen setting.

Great Faucet! Rated 4 by Rogue1
  Yes, I recommend this product.
I bought this faucet to replace an extremely old Delta faucet that had started leaking. Actually, my plumber chose this for me because it was already in his van. At first, I didn't really like the artsy design, but after awhile, it grew on me, and I recently bought another one just like it for my tenant's kitchen. The strength of the water coming out is very good, although this faucet is a bit noisier than the one I replaced. Even though this is an entry-level faucet, it does not look entry-level, and I hope that it will last as long as my previous faucet.

  Yes, I recommend this product.
The faucet that I installed was a simple design and what I wanted to replace an old faucet. The installation was quick and easy. Removal of the old faucet - not so much. It works as described. I like the fact that it has a lifetime warranty as long as the original consumer owns the home in which it was installed. One complaint that I have is that this faucet is noisier than the old faucet when it is running. I don't know if that is due to the plastic tubing used for the water lines or some other reason.

  Yes, I recommend this product.
I had a leak from a faucet that was under a year old and called in for repair parts. All I needed was my old receipt and a the model number to receive my parts. It would have been quicker if I had followed the advice of my store and registered the faucet when I had bought it but I was still able to get what I needed.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I'm not a shopper, so when my wife requested that I replace the kitchen faucet I simply went to the store and bought a faucet in the price range I wanted. Removing the old faucet was a challenge, but installing this one was quite easy. The first problem occurred hen I tried to re-install the Culligan brand water purifier that fits on the end of the faucet. The old faucet had male threads, but this one has female threads so the purifier couldn't be attached. There was probably an adapter included when I bought the purifier years ago, but obviously I did not save it. I called Culligan to see if I could simply buy an adapter, but they don't sell that part alone. The second problem occurred when my wife tried to clean a large, deep pot. Our sink is fairly shallow, and the old faucet was fairly high so large pots fit under the faucet easily. This faucet is fairly low, so large pots don't go under it easily.
