Delta T17467 Ara Monitor Tub/shower Trim - Chrome. T17467 is a genuine product manufactured by Delta Faucet Company. This particular product is a Tub/Shower Trim, which is part of Delta's Ara collection and has a Chrome finish. It utilizes a Dual-function pressure balance cartridge which operates with both a handle (Adjusts Water Volume) and dial (Adjusts Water Temperature). There are red and blue indicators on the dial which allows for easy operation to control the temperature. It does not include the necessary MultiChoice Universal rough (R10000-UNBX) which must be purchased separately for complete installation. Yes, I recommend this product.
We remodeled two bathrooms using Ara 17 designs, one with a tub/shower and one just a shower. Both look good and function very well with one complaint. In both the cover over the temperature control valve either has come off or is very loose. The one that has come off was very loose from the start and the other one seems like it will come off in a matter of time. We can put it back on and it will stay on for a while but it would be great to have some replacements that would stay on.
