The Liberty 281-5 Submersible Sump Pump is an automatic effluent pump for a variety of low-head to mid-range pump applications. It is recommended for use in mound systems, STEP systems, high output sump applications, and liquid waste transfer. It is a heavy duty pump with high head that enables sewage to be pumped over long distances. The pump has a discharge size of 1-1/2" and it can handle solids of up to 3/4" in diameter. Its 1/2 hp oil-filled, permanent split capacitor motor is encased in a class 25 cast iron housing. This Liberty 281-5 Submersible Sump Pump can pump up to 62 gallons per minute at 5' head pressure and has a shut-off head of 37'. It comes with an integral float switch. It includes a 50' power cord. The voltage needed to run this pump is 115V single phase. It utilizes an engineered vortex style, polymer impeller with pump out vanes on the back shroud to prevent clogging of debris in the seal area. More details are available in the specification sheets.
