About the Liberty 281HV

The Liberty 281HV Submersible Sump Pump is an automatic effluent pump for various low-head to mid-range pump applications. It is recommended for mound systems, STEP systems, high-output sump applications, and liquid waste transfer. It is a heavy-duty pump with a high head that enables sewage to be pumped over long distances. The pump has a discharge size of 1-1/2", and it can handle solids of up to 3/4" in diameter. Its 1/2 hp oil-filled, permanent split capacitor motor is encased in a class 25 cast iron housing. 

This Liberty 281HV Submersible Sump Pump can pump up to 62 gallons per minute at 5' head pressure and has a shut-off head of 37'. It comes with an integral float switch. It includes a 10' power cord. 

The voltage needed to run this pump is 208-230V single phase. It utilizes a vortex-style, polymer-engineered impeller with pump-out vanes on the back shroud to prevent clogging of debris in the seal area. More details are available in the specification sheets.
