The Liberty EV280HV Sump Pump is designed for use in the ELV Systems. It is activated by the OilTector system to remove water from the elevator pits in accordance with ASME A17.1. It cycles only in the water range so that oil and other harmful substances are not discharged into the environment. This Liberty EV280HV Sump Pump has a discharge size of 1 ½”. It uses a ½ hp motor. It comes with an oil-resistant 25’ power cord. The voltage needed to run this pump is 230V single phase. The pump cord and power-to-panel cord are plug-in ready and can be installed quickly and easily. The motor is protected by a unitized ceramic carbon mechanical seal. It utilizes a vortex style impeller made of engineered polymer that has pump out vanes at the back shroud to prevent clogging of debris.
